Hey Mommies,
Today I wanted to share a picture of the DIY Ball Pit I made for Gia! I found this idea on Pinterest and thought it would be a fun gift for her 1st Birthday.
All you need is an inflatable kiddie pool and colorful ball-pit balls! Since pools are seasonal (or at least in St. Louis they are) you will have to order the pool online (we used Ebay) or wait until spring. You can find the balls at Target, Walmart or Toys "R" Us. I thought I bought 100 balls, but when I put them in the kiddie-pool it looked more like 50, so I suggest making sure you get at least 100 to start off; you can always add more! It's best to start with less and let your little one get used to it and then add more balls down the road! Gia has so much fun playing in her private little ball-pit; you should have seen her face when she first laid eye on it! The best part is, once summer comes you can put the pool in the backyard and just fill it up with water...Pool Day!
I would love to hear any feedback or answer any questions! Until next time.
